What is the warranty period? Does it have an international warranty?

Carry Cotour offers different warranty periods for its products. Please refer to the product details to determine which warranty applies to your specific item. We provide a national warranty only and do not offer an international warranty on any products.

1-year warranty

2-year warranty

5-year warranty

Carry Cotour products undergo rigorous testing to ensure they meet stringent standards. If a problem arises due to manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship, Carry Cotour will, at its discretion, either repair or replace the product according to the warranty terms and conditions outlined below. This warranty applies only to the original purchaser or gift recipient of the product and is valid for the specified warranty period (6 months/1 year/2 years/5 years) from the date of purchase.

This warranty covers only manufacturing defects and excludes damage caused by misuse (e.g., transporting unusual items), neglect, accidents, abrasion, exposure to extreme temperatures, solvents, acids, water, normal wear and tear, or transport damage (such as by airlines). Non-warranty maintenance or repairs can be performed by any company, but warranty repairs must be carried out by an approved service center ("Service Center"). Improper or incorrectly performed maintenance or repairs void this warranty.

To locate a Service Center, contact us or call our customer care. You may also send your product directly to Carry Cotour warehouses across the country, bearing all costs for packaging, shipping, and applicable taxes.

Excluded Damages:

Incidental and consequential damages are expressly disclaimed. Labor charges and damages due to work by non-Service Center personnel are not covered. To the extent permitted by law, implied warranties are excluded. This warranty is limited to the value of the product. Manufacturing specifications may change without notice. Product locks are intended to prevent accidental opening and cannot ensure theft prevention or entry by airport personnel. Inspect your product immediately after handling by others. If damaged in transit, submit a claim to the transit company before clearing customs if possible.

Limited Lifetime Warranty:

Our limited lifetime warranty covers defects in the body shell under normal use. Accessories such as wheels, handles, and locks are covered for 1 year from the date of purchase. This warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original end purchaser. An original or copy of the sales receipt from an authorized Carry Cotour retailer is required for warranty service. Products purchased from third-party sellers or auction sites are not covered.

International Warranty:

 

Damage to Accessories: We will ship replacement parts (wheels, handles, telescopic handles, locks) with detailed video instructions on fixing them.

Crack to Shell: Replacement is available in India only.

Zipper Issues: Repairs can be done in India only.

What is Covered?

Carry Cotour warrants that the products will be free from manufacturing defects in workmanship and materials under normal use. Covered spare parts include zippers, pullers, locks, pick-up handles, telescopic handles, wheels, rubber bushings (cushions), and logos.

What is Not Covered?

Normal wear and tear

Scratches and dents

Misuse, neglect, lack of care, mishandling, accidents, abrasion, exposure to extreme temperatures, solvents, acids, or transport damage

Use of the product for non-intended purposes

Damage from improper or unauthorized repairs

Inside lining damage

Wear and tear of PU components

Modified or altered products

Non-Carry Cotour products used with the product

 

How to Make a Warranty Claim:

 

To report a warranty defect, contact customer support with your telephone number for follow-up. You will need to provide:

An original or copy of your sales receipt as proof of purchase

The product for warranty verification

You are responsible for shipping costs to Carry Cotour. There is no charge for inspection or return postage. Carry Cotour is not liable for products damaged or lost in transit; use a trackable shipping method. Returned products will be reviewed for authenticity; counterfeit items will be confiscated.

If the product is found defective and meets the warranty terms, Carry Cotour will repair or replace it. Replacement products are warranted for the remainder of the original warranty period.
